How to Turn Your Nutrition Into a Game

Well, I have a confession to make.

For the last couple weeks, I've been carefully tracking my food and making the same mistakes we see our clients make.

Too many carbs, too little protein and fat.

And if I'm not watching closely, I always overeat my calories.

When my numbers were out of whack last week, I dropped ZERO pounds.

This week, I've done better and I'm down 3 lbs. so far.

It's not rocket science. It plain works.

Which is why we teach in our small group program about a good, better, best system when it comes to macros.

1st Step- Hit your calorie goal.

2nd Step- Hit your protein goal.

3rd Step- Hit your carb goal.

If you're constantly eating way too many or way too little calories, you need to focus on STEP 1. (Good plan)

If you've got the calories down, then move onto Step 2. (Better Plan)

Got that mastered? Hone in on Step 3.

(Best plan)

I gotta admit, when you're tracking your calories and macros in MyFitnessPal (or whatever nutrition journal app you use), it almost becomes like a game.

Game-ifying nutrition and fitness is what makes it fun and addictive to stick with for the long-haul.

And when you discover that hitting those numbers produces results (like a couple pounds down on the scale), well, that's what you call a snowball.

One good habit motivates you to create another and another until you become UNSTOPPABLE.

Remember the good, better, best system if you're struggling to get results.
